At this time, I’m taking donations from Hoboken residents only and to a maximum of $300. You DO NOT need to be a sixth ward resident to donate to my campaign, because I’m of the opinion that ward candidates always represent the full city, but are elected by six different neighborhoods in an effort to yield a diverse council.
I know that some of my opponents will take donations from businesses, developers, people who live out of town and in large amounts, but this has the much potential to lead to a conflict of interest, where decisions are made against the residents and instead in favor of those businesses, developers and out of towners.
