Today I stopped by Kurt Gardiner’s protest regarding ‘disappearing benches’. My theory about the benches still being there, just not visible: turned out to be untrue and the city has already put back one non-clear bench. We sat and sweat together with an estimated 65 different people (about half at any given time) and made jokes about “Bench-Gate”. I told Kurt he should push for progress and demand that we are furnished with ‘bench recliners’ as an upgrade.
Today is sort of a break for petition collecting, off to National Night Out.
